Take Assurans precisely as prescribed for you. Adhere to all instructions on your prescription label without deviation. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, nor take it for a longer duration than recommended. Typically, Assurans is ingested three times daily, spaced approximately 4 to 6 hours apart. Alternatively, it can be taken as needed, usually 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity, with a maximum of 4 hours before. Refrain from consuming Assurans more than once per day.
Assurans aids in achieving an erection solely in response to sexual stimulation; it does not autonomously induce an erection. Always adhere closely to your doctor’s directives. Should you experience dizziness, nausea, or any discomfort in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw during sexual activity, discontinue use immediately and promptly notify your doctor, as these symptoms could indicate a serious side effect of Assurans.
Store Assurans at room temperature, shielded from moisture and heat. Refrain from taking Assurans if you are concurrently using nitrate medication for chest pain or heart issues, as the combination of these drugs may precipitate a sudden drop in blood pressure. Inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking, especially riociguat (Adempas).
If you encounter a painful or prolonged erection lasting longer than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention, as this could lead to penile damage.
